What can I do for a virtual astronomy field trip?

While in-person field trips offer the best educational experience, we understand that some locations may be closed or have restrictions which make it difficult or impossible to complete live field trips. Some locations, such as museums, observatories, etc. may offer virtual tours on their website. Below are other options for online, virtual "field trips":

• This website offers a virtual tour of the solar system and galaxy: https://nineplanets.org/tour/. It's fun to play with.
• You could also do a virtual planetarium tour here: https://sites.astro.caltech.edu/palomar/visitor/virtualtour.html
